Verdict. The E7Q Odin is FlexiSpot's load beast: instead of the usual two legs, it mounts four three-stage U-shaped columns with four motors and carbon steel to deliver the brand's most stable, highest-capacity base. It kills the jiggle every two-leg standing desk carries and holds up to 200 kg (even more in some configurations), with a 68 to 133 cm range and a roughly 38 mm/s rise despite its size. It's built for large tops, L-shaped desks, or multi-monitor, heavy-gear setups that two-leg frames don't cover as firmly. Price is its big catch: it's among the most expensive in the category and, like the rest of the range, sold as a frame without a top. If you need a bulletproof base for a large surface, little else comes close.

What the community says

Reviews agree it's the most stable base you can buy, without the jiggle of two-leg frames, and on its huge load capacity for large tops and L-shaped desks. The unanimous downside is the price and that, being a large four-leg frame, assembly is more laborious and it's very heavy.

Good fit

  • Anyone who needs the market's maximum stability and load
  • Anyone with large tops, L-shaped desks, or heavy multi-monitor setups
  • Anyone picking their own top who prioritizes a bulletproof base

Not ideal for

  • Anyone with a normal single standard-top setup
  • Anyone on a tight budget
  • Anyone who doesn't want to wrangle a large, heavy frame during assembly

Strengths

  • Four legs and four motors: FlexiSpot's most stable base
  • Very high load (up to 200 kg or more)
  • Three-stage U-shaped columns in carbon steel
  • Wide 68-133 cm range, ideal for large tops and L-shaped desks

Weaknesses

  • Among the highest prices in the category
  • Sold without a tabletop: notable extra cost
  • Large, heavy frame, laborious assembly
