How we evaluate products
We test products directly when that is practical and useful. When we do not have a product physically, we evaluate it through specifications, availability, buyer feedback, warranty, limitations and comparison with products we know well.
What we check in chairs
- Seat height, seat depth and body fit.
- Lumbar support and whether it adjusts in a useful way.
- Armrest position, shoulder comfort and desk fit.
- Materials, breathability and long-session comfort.
- Warranty, returns and recurring buyer complaints.
What we check in desks
- Stability while sitting and standing.
- Height range, motor noise and memory presets.
- Desktop size, depth and cable management.
- Assembly, warranty and support.
What we check in monitors and accessories
For monitors we care about ergonomics as much as image quality: height adjustment, VESA compatibility, USB-C, text clarity and whether the screen works at a healthy distance. For accessories we focus on whether they solve a real workday problem rather than just making the desk look better.
